Containerization is a method of packaging software so that it can be run with its dependencies in isolated environments called containers. This practice encapsulates an application and its dependencies into a portable and self-sufficient unit, which can be executed consistently on any computing platform that supports the container system, such as Docker, Kubernetes, or others.
